The Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) recently hosted its annual Business Expo at the Copley Square Marriott in Boston. The Expo brought together some of the greatest minds in the world of Massachusetts transportation and the Nover-Armstrong team was excited to be able to attend and host an exhibit table. The event was headlined by an excellent keynote address from Boston’s new mayor, Mr. Martin J. Walsh, and the opportunity to meet, and get a picture with, the mayor after his address was a pleasant surprise to all who attended. The Expo itself is a great barometer for measuring which direction the world of Massachusetts transportation is headed and its diverse collection of firms and public agencies gave the Nover-Armstrong team a unique opportunity to meet and discuss ongoing and upcoming projects with a number of colleagues from other firms. In addition to meeting colleagues, the event was a great opportunity to catch up with associates that Nover-Armstrong has worked with in the past. With this year’s Expo over, the Nover-Armstrong team is already looking forward to next year’s event so that we can meet more colleagues and hear about the exciting projects that their firms are working on while also getting the chance to showcase some of the exciting projects that Nover-Armstrong has planned for 2015.
