Professional Environmental Services - Brockton, Massachusetts
Brockton Housing Authority
For over ten years, Nover-Armstrong has been providing professional environmental services to the Brockton Housing Authority as part of their environmental due diligence requirements for obtaining Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding for property redevelopment. Nover-Armstrong routinely conducts AAI & ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, HUD Environmental Review & Environmental Assessment Services, Asbestos Inspection and Lead-Based Paint Inspection Services of vacant and neglected properties located throughout the urbanized areas of Brockton. The assessments include detailed inspection of properties and adjoining properties and reviews of publicly-available documents in order to identify potential recognized environmental conditions at the properties and evaluate if the proposed project redevelopments / developments would have an adverse impact on the surrounding project neighborhoods and resource areas. Nover-Armstrong has played a critical role in the BHA’s collaborative & successful neighborhood revitalization initiative.
In 2009, the BHA was recognized by the National Association of Housing & Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) for their leading example of neighborhood revitalization in the country.
